Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using HKPL Fantasy / 港超 Fantasy (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Fan-made product

The Service is an independent, fan-made fantasy football game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) or the Hong Kong Premier League (HKPL). Club and player names are used for identification purposes only.

3. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You must provide accurate registration details. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. One account per person.

4. Team names and user content

Team names, league names, and any other content you create must be appropriate and lawful: nothing unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene, or infringing others' rights. Content that breaches this policy will be replaced with a randomly assigned name, or the account may be removed without notice.

We reserve the right to review, modify, or remove any user-generated content at any time without notice.

By submitting content to the Service (such as team and league names), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use that content as needed to operate the Service, including on public leaderboards and within leagues you join.

5. Acceptable use

Use the Service lawfully. Do not cheat, abuse, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service, and do not attempt to access other users' data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or any applicable law.

Do not impersonate any person, misrepresent your affiliation, charge others to join a league, make league entry conditional on buying any goods or services, or otherwise use the Service or its data for commercial purposes. If we close your account for breaching these Terms, you may not register again under another identity.

6. No real-money gaming

The Service is a free-to-play game of skill for entertainment. There is no paid entry, no cash prize, and no betting or wagering element. It is not a gambling product.

7. Scoring and gameplay

Fantasy points are calculated from recorded match data and may be corrected by administrators. We may adjust rules, player prices, deadlines, and scores at any time. Our determination of scores and standings is final. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

8. Intellectual property

The Service's software, design, and original content are owned by Kinoko Studio or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission. Sponsor content may appear and is clearly labelled. We are not responsible for third-party websites you choose to visit.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by Hong Kong law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us, which for free accounts is nil.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Hong Kong law.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO).

11. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or end the Service, or your access to it, at any time.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
